SEATTLE.– Dominican Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continues to leave his mark in the history books of the Toronto Blue Jays. This Thursday, during Game 4 of the American League Championship Series against the Seattle Mariners, the slugger broke a record that belonged to another Dominican legend: José Bautista.

Guerrero hit his fifth home run of this postseason, surpassing the mark of four that Bautista had set in 2015. The home run, a solid hit to the opposite field in the seventh inning against the Venezuelan Eduard Bazardo, came off the bat at 103.5 miles per hour and traveled 359 feet, according to Statcast data.
