Berklee opens call in Santo Domingo 2026 for young musicians

The application process will be open until November 3, 2025, through the official Berklee website.

Santo Domingo.- The call for Berklee in Santo Domingo 2026 was officially opened, offering young Dominican musicians the opportunity to participate in an intensive training program that will be held from January 5 to 10, 2026 at the National Conservatory of Music. The program is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the AES Dominicana Foundation, the Electricity Generating Company Itabo, and the National Conservatory of Music, in collaboration with Berklee College of Music, one of the most recognized institutions internationally. The participation of those selected will be free. The initiative is aimed at Dominican residents who are at least 15 years old at the beginning of the program and have a minimum of six months of experience playing an instrument or singing. Those interested must complete an online form and submit videos showing their level of musical performance.

For six days, participants will receive intensive classes in music theory, improvisation, instrumental technique, ensemble, composition, and arranging. The program includes guidance from Berklee instructors and guest professors, and includes a final concert in which students will showcase what they have learned. The application process will be open until November 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. The results of the first selection round will be announced on November 14, 2025. In addition, auditions and interviews will be held to apply for merit scholarships that will allow students to continue their studies at Berklee.
