Miami. Patrick Luna, the rising Mexican singer and songwriter, returns with “Olas”, a cheerful and contagious pop song inspired by an unexpected moment with a girl who captivated him instantly. Driven by a smooth and relaxed rhythm, and with an introduction that evokes the sound of the California waves, the single captures the emotion of a connection between two people: brief, brilliant and impossible to forget. Patrick also incorporates some touches of English in the song, which adds texture and a fun contrast to his characteristic narrative style in Spanish. The song and its official video are already available on all digital platforms. "Olas" follows the warm reception of Patrick's latest release, "Nicole", an emotional collaboration with the Venezuelan singer-songwriter Santander. Cheerful, rhythmic, and tinged with heartbreak, "Nicole" shows Patrick shining over a production led by synthesizers as he struggles with love, loss, and unanswered questions. With phrases like "when I drink, I miss you" and "why didn't you call back?", Patrick paints a vivid and bittersweet world in which memories and emotions collide. Santander's moving voice and lyrical depth add another layer to the song, blending perfectly with Patrick's pop sensibility and giving it a nostalgic but fresh touch.

"Waves' was born from a completely honest place. I wrote it thinking about long-distance love, about that feeling of being far from someone but still letting yourself be surprised by what you feel. It's a song about how, even when you don't expect it, love returns and finds you in waves... and you feel like surfing again." The release of “Olas” continues Patrick's outstanding 2025, a year defined by creative advances and all of this achieved as an independent artist. The release of his debut EP to start the year, + Romántico Que Bélico, set the tone for his rise, while his hit “Sé Que Tú También”, with Miliano, further consolidated him as one of the most exciting emerging voices in Latin pop. Born in Mexico City and artistically trained in Miami, Patrick Luna is known for his sound that blurs genres, balancing pop refinement with emotional honesty. His momentum accelerated after catching the attention of Prescription Songs, the publishing house for artists like Doja Cat, Maroon 5, and Rihanna. As a finalist on Timbo Idol, he earned praise from Timbaland for his vocal versatility and sincere lyricism. With fan-favorite tracks like "El Malo", "Me Cuesta Tanto" and "De Antes", Patrick has shown that he is capable of creating intimate, youthful songs that stay etched in anyone's memory. With “Waves”, Patrick Luna confidently steps forward into a new chapter, full of sunshine-filled energy, irresistible melodies, and the illusion of a girl who left an unforgettable impression on him.
