Jarabacoa. – A security camera captured the moment when agents of the General Directorate of Migration caused an accident to detain a Haitian national allegedly undocumented, in an event recorded on the afternoon of Saturday, December 5, on the main road of the El Salto sector Baiguate.
As observed in the video, the man was riding a motorcycle when the official Migration van was abruptly placed in his lane, blocking his way. Moments later, one of the agents opened the vehicle's door, causing the motorcyclist to crash directly into it, resulting in multiple lacerations.
Witnesses in the sector claim that the action was intentional, pointing out that this type of maneuver endangers the lives of citizens and generates concern, and it is feared that these interventions will negatively affect the tourist perception of Jarabacoa.
