Abreu CDD Clinical Construction Announced in Downtown Punta Cana

Punta Cana. – Clínica Abreu CDD and Downtown Punta Cana announced a strategic alliance for the construction and commissioning of a modern Emergency and Diagnostic Imaging Center, as an anchor of an integral health circuit within the Downtown Tourist Center (CTD). The initiative responds to the accelerated urban, tourist, and population growth of the Eastern region, and represents a milestone for the sanitary infrastructure of Punta Cana, reaffirming its evolution towards a city in consolidation with demands typical of large urban centers. Executives highlighted that the availability of essential services such as high-quality healthcare has become a decisive factor driving residential demand, increasing added value, and strengthening investor confidence. In that sense, the arrival of Clínica Abreu CDD, recognized for its trajectory, clinical standards, and technological capacity, positions Downtown Punta Cana as a development with real support for residents, visitors, and the business ecosystem. During the announcement, it was reported that the Downtown Tourist Center will cover an area of 38,000 square meters, including a five-level parking tower with direct access. The project will also have an area for offices and medical units available for sale and rent, promoting the incorporation of specialists and medical groups.

Similarly, it was announced that this initiative already contemplates the progressive incorporation of essential complementary services such as clinical laboratories, dialysis, rehabilitation and other medical specialties of recognized national trajectory, whose details and allied brands will be announced soon through the official channels and social networks of the project. Executive Luis Francis Villegas indicated that this alliance responds to a long-term vision aimed at raising the standards of well-being and responsible development in the Eastern region. For his part, Jesús Fernández, Executive President of Clínica Abreu CDD, affirmed that quality health has become a determining element for investing, living, and establishing a main residence in a rapidly growing city. The new center will feature advanced medical technology, strict quality protocols, and a professional team with extensive experience, strengthening the healthcare response capacity in an area that receives more than 6 million tourists annually and is home to more than 250,000 permanent residents.
