The Supreme Federal Court (STF) denied a new request for house arrest to former President Jair Bolsonaro, requested by his lawyers for "humanitarian" reasons. The measure was taken by magistrate Alexandre de Moraes, who pointed out that the former president does not meet the requirements for the benefit to be granted. In his decision, according to G1, the judge recalls previous attempts to flee and, in addition, indicates that in prison he receives all the necessary attention to treat his health problems, since "the total adaptation of the prison environment to the medical needs of the convicted" was made. Currently, Bolsonaro is serving a sentence of 27 years and three months in prison for the attempted coup against the current president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
