Santiago.- Hundreds of teachers grouped in the Dominican Association of Teachers ADP, Santiago section protested with a teaching strike and a vigil in front of the regional Ministry of Education. Grouped and vociferously chanting slogans alluding to their claims, they deplored that the Education authorities have not resolved the ills that affect the normal development of school activities, ranging from lack of personnel to the deterioration of the buildings. During the mobilization, they maintained that the accumulated debt with the teaching staff and the constant violation of labor rights, verbal and physical aggressions have been increasing every day.
