Abinader meets with the Dominican diaspora in Paris; evaluates opening an INDEX office

He assured that the Government will continue to provide aid and opportunities to the diaspora.

France.- During the already customary meeting between President Luis Abinader and Dominicans living abroad, the Head of State held a conversation in Paris, in which he reiterated that the Government continues to strengthen its foreign policy and, on this occasion, seeks to improve the representation of the Dominican Republic in France.

Among the topics addressed are initiatives in education, artificial intelligence, culture, housing, and political participation. Immediately, the ruler affirmed that they work hard and constantly to bring opportunities and facilities to the diaspora, that respond to their needs. He told them that, due to their concerns, they would evaluate the possibility of establishing an Index (Institute of Dominicans Abroad) office in France, as well as a House of Culture, which would be ideal spaces for greater integration. These initiatives were supported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez, who assured that President Abinader has transformed the Dominican foreign service.

"We will continue to move forward to improve the quality of life for everyone," concluded the president.

In this open exchange of ideas and opinions, he reminded them that, at the national level, works and programs of advancement, progress, and development are carried out every day in the communities, such as health centers, schools, sports facilities, ports, roads, and the delivery of property titles.
