LIVIDOUSA anuncia su tercer torneo anual de vitilla en Washington Heights

Nueva York, EE.UU. – La organización comunitaria LIVIDOUSA anunció la celebración de su tercer torneo anual de vitilla, que tendrá lugar el próximo 25 de abril de 2026 en Washington Heights, específicamente en la intersección de Saint Nicholas Avenue y la calle 181.

Por tercer año consecutivo, LIVIDOUSA formará parte del evento Car-Free Earth Day, en colaboración con el Departamento de Transporte de la Ciudad de Nueva York, llevando el tradicional juego dominicano de la vitilla a las calles de la ciudad en un ambiente familiar, deportivo y cultural.

La iniciativa busca fomentar la actividad física, promover el uso responsable del espacio público y fortalecer la integración comunitaria, transformando las calles en espacios seguros y libres de vehículos durante la jornada.

Además, la organización informó que su temporada oficial 2026 se desarrollará del 17 de mayo al 19 de julio, con un calendario de 10 domingos consecutivos de competencia. Durante esta etapa, se reconocerá el talento de los participantes con premios en distintas categorías, incluyendo Jugador Más Valioso (MVP), Cy Young y mejores jugadores por posición.
