Bonao, Monseñor Nouel. — In the face of recent rainfall that has affected various communities of the province, the Dominican Government launched a comprehensive response operation that includes a detailed assessment of damages, by direct instructions from President Luis Abinader. The coordination day took place at the Provincial Government, where national and municipal authorities and political leaders met, under the direction of Digna Reynoso, executive director of the National Council of Presidential Management and political liaison in the province. During the meeting, the provincial governor, Adela Tejada, emphasized the need to act quickly and efficiently to provide timely assistance to families affected by the rains. "We are closely monitoring each situation on the instructions of the president, to ensure that aid reaches where it is truly needed," Reynoso said. In the meeting, mayors and municipal directors from across the province participated, offering key reports on the most impacted communities. Among them are Eberto Núñez (Bonao). Likewise, political leaders and local representatives were integrated, including Ramón Hiciano, Ramón Rosario (Momonsito), Ricardo de la Cruz, Wander Morales, Juan Alberto Santiago, Jesús Pérez, Bernardo Flores, Yovanny García, Francis Rosario (Darío), the deputy Orlando Martínez and the councilwoman Rosa Batista, who contributed relevant information for decision-making. The authorities highlighted that they will remain in permanent session, evaluating the results of the damage assessment and executing concrete actions to mitigate the effects of the rains in Monseñor Nouel, in a joint effort between the central government, local authorities, and the political leadership of the province.
