Santo Domingo. – The preliminary hearing of the Jet Set case was rescheduled for next Friday, May 1st at 10:00 a.m., after the defense of the accused requested more time to present a key expert report in the process. The request was made by the lawyers of Antonio Espaillat and Maribel Espaillat, who argued the need to have the results of a technical report requested by them, which they consider crucial to support their defense strategy. During the hearing, Judge Raymundo Mejía, of the First Instruction Court of the National District, accepted the request, but stated that there will be no further extensions in the next summons. The magistrate emphasized that, regardless of whether the expert report is ready or not, the hearing will continue on the scheduled date, as part of the commitment to move forward with the process without further delays.
