Santo Domingo.- The Senatorial Office of the National District announced this Sunday that it will subsidize for one year the education of nine children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special conditions that affect learning.
Omar Fernández, senator for the National District, explained that the purpose is to guarantee the education of these children regardless of their economic or social condition.
Of the cases that this office will assist, 8 children received a year of schooling, five of them total and the rest of the partial attendances."Every peso this office receives must be returned to the people, because these resources belong to them," explained the senator.
