Please use Life Line: 809-200-1202 to make reports
Santo Domingo.- First Lady
Raquel Arbaje called on citizens to join the campaign
“A call can save a life,” in order to report any type of abuse or mistreatment against girls, boys, and adolescents.
Arbaje invited to use the Life Line: 809-200-1202 to immediately report acts that put the integrity of minors at risk.
The exhortation, from the first lady, was made through her social media where she posted an audiovisual of Línea Vida in which it is requested not to remain silent and to report mistreatment.
The video was accompanied by the message: "A call can save a life. The protection of girls, boys, and adolescents is everyone's duty. In the face of any type of abuse or mistreatment, do not be silent. Report it! It is completely anonymous."
The "Línea Vida: 809-200-1202" service has national coverage and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, answering phone calls from victims of violence, who receive assistance quickly and promptly.
It has a connection with the National Emergency Attention System 9-1-1, which refers cases of gender violence and sexual offenses to the Línea Vida for proper processing. It functions as a modern call center that offers assistance to victims and witnesses of gender violence.
