Santo Domingo.- The merengue singer José Gabriel Severino, better known as "El Jeffrey" confessed during an interview with the communicator Raquel Suárez that he is a calm man and totally the opposite of what is seen on stage.
Faced with this, the singer revealed that he prefers his backyard to a bar, conversing to making love, and cooking to going to a restaurant. All this because he claims to like peace, even though on stage he is totally the opposite.
"I am shy, I am a very shy person. I am very different from what people see on stage. I don't drink, I don't go out, I am very much a homebody, very much about my family, I am totally, perhaps a little boring," he explained.

During the interesting conversation where topics about his musical career, his beginnings in music, and the tribute he recently paid to the deceased merengue singer Rubby Pérez were also discussed, the artist spoke about the importance of knowing how to speak.
Although he confesses that Nubla went to school, he defined himself as self-taught and a person with training.
In June of last year 2024, El Jeffrey confessed that when he is an artist he considers himself an asexual person.
"Artists have to be asexual... I don't discriminate against anyone, anyone. When I am an artist I am asexual," stated the renowned singer during an interview on the morning show Esto No es Radio, which airs Monday through Friday on Alofoke FM 99.3.
