SANTO DOMINGO.- Camino Films and Hamilton Films released this Friday, September 19th, the official trailer for “El Rey del Hit: Luis Polonia”, a production that will arrive in all the country's movie theaters starting October 30, 2025.
The film chronicles the life of the legendary baseball player Luis Polonia, from his humble beginnings in Santiago to becoming one of the most outstanding Dominicans in Major League Baseball and a symbol of the national sport.

The cast includes renowned Dominican figures such as Héctor Acosta, Chilote Llenas, Starlyn Javier, Juan Marichal, Pappy Pérez, Ulises Rodríguez (mayor of Santiago) and Miguel Tejada, who provide valuable testimonies about the history of Poland. "Telling the life of Luis Polonia has been a journey of inspiration and national pride. His story is full of struggle, glory, mistakes and redemption, and we believe it will inspire new generations to pursue their dreams without giving up," commented Eddy Jiménez, director of "El Rey del Hit" "Luis Polonia is much more than a name in baseball history; he is an example of struggle, perseverance, and resilience.
