Russia and China have signed more than 20 documents on bilateral cooperation in various fields, Chinese state television reported on Tuesday.
According to the article, the documents cover the collaboration between Moscow and Beijing in energy, aerospace, artificial intelligence, agriculture, health, science, education, and media.
The leaders of Russia and China exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest, television reports.
The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, met this Tuesday in Beijing as part of the Russian leader's official visit to the Asian giant, which takes place from August 31 to September 3.
"The relations between China and Russia have withstood the test of the international situation and serve as a model of eternal good-neighborliness, friendship, comprehensive strategic cooperation, mutually beneficial collaboration, and reciprocal benefit," the Chinese president emphasized.
Putin highlighted the strategic nature of the ties between Moscow and Beijing, adding that "they are at an unprecedented level".
