Organized by Cibao Atlántico in collaboration with Uveros Village, the festival will be held from May 30 to June 7 at Playa Buen Hombre, one of the most privileged destinations in the Caribbean for water sports. With a clear vision to position this enclave as one of the best kitesurfing spots in the world, the event will bring together elite athletes, national artists, and thousands of visitors in an unprecedented experience in the region. The festival's opening will be marked by a demanding 100-kilometer cycling competition, which will culminate on the coast of Buen Hombre, giving way to one of the most anticipated moments: the international kitesurfing competition in Big Air mode. This segment will feature official judges from the Global Kitesports Association, guaranteeing world-class evaluation standards. The competitive level will be backed by an attractive prize pool: $7,000 for the male and female winners, and $3,500 for the junior category.
Among the participants are international figures such as Victoria Bragnot, Lorenzo Casati, Leonardo Casati and Mikaili Sol, along with local talents such as Josué Suan, Joselito del Rosario, Luis Cruz and Miguel Ángel. Beyond sports, the Bike Kite Fest 2026 is projected as a large-scale multidisciplinary festival. A second stage, located on the beach, will accompany the sports competitions in real time. The event infrastructure is designed to accommodate thousands of attendees, with more than 2,000 camping spaces that will offer a comprehensive experience, including three daily meals and a wide range of local products and gastronomy. The festival also promotes community integration, incorporating traditional activities such as a domino competition with a prize of one million pesos, volleyball and softball tournaments, as well as kite contests, reinforcing the link between the event and the cultural identity of the region. The Bike Kite Fest 2026 thus establishes itself not only as a celebration of sport and music, but also as a strategic platform for the tourism and economic development of the northern zone of the country. With this initiative, Cibao Atlántico reaffirms its commitment to promote high-impact projects, projecting the Dominican Republic as a leading destination on the international stage.
