Santo Domingo.- Benito Antonio, one of the most prominent Dominican designers nationally and internationally, who has turned fashion into a vehicle of identity, purpose, and patriotic pride. From the age of nine, when he watched his mother sew, Benito Antonio discovered a fascination that would shape the course of his life. By eleven, he already mastered sewing, patterns, and drawing, skills that he would later perfect at the Mercy Jáquez Technical Institute, where he had experiences that he still treasures, such as the trust of his teachers and the special presence of his graduation godmother, his own sewing teacher.

Today, in addition to being a designer, he is a teacher, a role he takes on as a mission: “Teaching is giving back to life a little of what has been learned”, he affirms. Seeing his students achieve their dreams is one of his greatest satisfactions.

A style that celebrates the feminine essence

Benito Antonio's collections have shone both in the Dominican Republic and on international stages. He defines his style as a celebration of women's beauty and femininity, with pieces that seek to be accomplices to his clients: comfortable, empowering, and full of confidence. "The muse who wears Benito Antonio will always be the center of attention," he assures.
