Miami, Florida. — In a context where artificial intelligence redefines competitiveness globally, Dominican Jack Mateo, developed a strategic agenda at the Miami Dade College (MDC), focused on training in AI applied to the business sector.

The AI expert held a meeting with Pedro Santos, Executive Director of Emerging Technologies at MDC, in which initiatives aimed at specialized training, process automation, and business digital transformation were discussed.

“If we want our companies to compete in an economy driven by artificial intelligence, we need allied institutions that have applied proven training models in key sectors. Our commitment is to train managers and executives in the strategic use of AI in their daily operations, thus increasing efficiency and productivity”, Mateo assured.

He also highlighted that the academic models developed in one of the most relevant technology hubs in the United States serve as a reference to accelerate the strategic adoption of artificial intelligence in Dominican companies, especially in traditional sectors that require operational modernization. Mateo, founder of IARD Agency, also toured the facilities of the AI Center on the Wolfson campus of the aforementioned educational institution, where he learned firsthand about the programs and tools designed to train talent in emerging technologies, reinforcing the importance of aligning technical training with the real needs of the market. The speaker attended as a guest at the AI Salon Miami, held at Mana Tech, one of the most active spaces in the city's technological ecosystem. There, attendees saw a demonstration of "How to Create Applications without Coding" by Renatto Garro, Corporate CTO and Digital Natives. "The AI Salon is a global community of founders, developers, investors, researchers, and artificial intelligence enthusiasts, whose mission is to create opportunities through human connections on an international scale," said the AI consultant while highlighting the high value of integrating into Miami's tech ecosystem. Mateo's work agenda took place within the framework of his participation in the Miami Startup Ecosystem Conference, an event held at the MDC facilities and convened by Dennis Hiler, manager of 1001VC and investor in various startups.

The event brought together founders, investors, and CEOs of high-growth technology companies from California, Boston, New York, and Miami, and included startups like DoorLoop, ZenCentiv and Aracor AI, as well as venture capital funds and entrepreneurship hubs. During the conference sessions, the paradigm shift that organizations face in adopting artificial intelligence was highlighted. The panelists agreed that the current competitive advantage lies in incorporating AI in a personalized way into operational processes, with clear KPIs, measurable results, and sustainable business models driven by technology. For his part, the founder of Spotnana, a Silicon Valley startup valued at over a billion dollars, noted that growth in business markets depends as much on innovation as on the ability and speed of execution. Likewise, he stressed that trust has become a determining strategic asset, displacing traditional mass prospecting strategies. The Miami Startup Ecosystem Conference is part of a series of recurring meetings that position Miami as a hub of articulation between capital, talent, and education in South Florida, serving as a technological center and commercial gateway to the United States, with a great impact on the Caribbean and Latin America. With this agenda, Jack Mateo advances in an international strategy focused on artificial intelligence applied to business development, under a collaboration model between the technological ecosystem of Miami and the Dominican Republic, focused on productivity, value creation, and technological modernization.
