Aumentarán las lluvias durante el fin de semana; mantienen alertas meteorológicas

Santo Domingo, RD. – El Instituto Dominicano de Meteorología informó que las condiciones del tiempo estarán marcadas por un incremento de las lluvias durante este fin de semana, debido a la incidencia de una vaguada y el arrastre de humedad asociado al viento.

Durante este Viernes Santo, se registrarán precipitaciones entre débiles y moderadas en horas de la mañana en varias provincias del norte, nordeste y este del país. Para la tarde y noche, se prevé un aumento de la actividad lluviosa con aguaceros moderados a fuertes, acompañados de tormentas eléctricas y ráfagas de viento en localidades del Gran Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, San Pedro de Macorís, La Vega, Santiago, Azua, San Juan y otras zonas.

El organismo mantiene bajo alerta meteorológica a San Cristóbal, Monseñor Nouel y el Gran Santo Domingo, ante posibles inundaciones urbanas.

Para el Sábado Santo y el Domingo de Resurrección, se espera un ambiente más húmedo e inestable, con aguaceros de moderados a fuertes, tormentas eléctricas, ráfagas de viento y posibles granizadas, principalmente en horas de la tarde y noche.

Asimismo, se advierte sobre oleaje peligroso en la costa Atlántica, con olas entre 8 y 10 pies, por lo que se recomienda a las embarcaciones pequeñas y medianas permanecer en puerto. En la costa Caribeña, las condiciones marítimas se mantienen normales.

Las temperaturas estarán ligeramente agradables, con mínimas entre 19 °C y 21 °C y máximas entre 29 °C y 31 °C, debido al viento fresco del noreste.

Las autoridades exhortan a la población a mantenerse atenta a los boletines oficiales, evitar cruzar ríos y cañadas con alto caudal, y conducir con precaución ante la reducción de visibilidad y las vías mojadas.

Para este viernes se esperan lluvias moderadas; sin embargo, durante el sábado y domingo se prevé un incremento significativo de las precipitaciones en gran parte del país, manteniéndose las alertas meteorológicas vigentes.
