Cibao International Airport presents progress on its new terminal

Santiago. – The International Airport of Cibao presented this Thursday the progress of the construction of its new terminal, a strategic work that contemplates an approximate investment of 200 million dollars in its first phase. During a meeting with media representatives, terminal executives offered details about the project's development, highlighting architectural, operational, and environmental aspects integrated into the new infrastructure. The airport's general manager, Teófilo Gómez, thanked the press for their support and highlighted the importance of the expansion for strengthening the airport system of the North region and the country.

The presentation was given by Cristina Rodríguez, Project Manager, who explained that the initiative is part of a broad expansion plan structured in three stages and that it is currently in the first phase of execution. Among the works in progress, the airport authorities highlighted the installation of the structure's roofs, manufactured by a German company and made with high-quality treated wood, selected for its durability and environmental sustainability.
