Jabriell bids farewell to an exceptional year 2025. The talented Dominican singer, songwriter, and record producer, known for his melodious voice and his ability to fuse R&B with reggaeton and Latin trap, has managed to establish himself as an emerging figure on the international music scene. Jabriell, whose real name is Gabriel Alberto Ortíz Vélez, started the year with the advance of his highly anticipated debut album “1521”. This work contains an innovative fusion of reggaeton, Latin pop, and Dominican indigenous sounds, offering a mature emotional perspective that captured the attention of his followers. On March 21st, Jabriell released "Espacio", the first single from the album, which quickly became a hit on Dominican Republic radio stations. On June 4th, Jabriell made his international debut in Peru during the All Music Fest 3, where he performed hits like "Espacio", "Qué Peluche", "Pa' Qué?" and "Videíto" in front of more than 15 thousand people. His performance not only gained him new Peruvian followers, but also strengthened his connection with the public. During the festival, an interview with Peruvian influencers Zully and Yaniz went viral on social media. This exposure significantly increased Jabriell's number of followers and her popularity among Peruvian fans. In July, Jabriell ventured into traditional merengue with "Mala suerte" alongside El Blachy, a renowned Dominican artist. Invited by Lennox, Jabriell joined the Puerto Rican's tour through Peru, from September 25th to 27th. This experience consolidated his presence in the Peruvian market and opened new opportunities with local promoters. This tour included performances in the locations of Lima and Trujillo. In homage to his connection with the Peruvian public, a mural with Jabriell's face was inaugurated in Callao, highlighting his cultural impact in the region. Jabriell received the "Rising Artist of the Year" award at the Glamour Music Awards, a recognition that validated his growth in the music industry and increased his media visibility.
