The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Tuesday, January 6, 2026, as follows:
In financial institutions, the buying rate was RD$62.00 and the selling rate was RD$63.87. These figures reflect a slight depreciation compared to the close of December 31, 2025, when the purchase was at RD$61.98 (-0.03%) and the sale at RD$63.86 (-0.01%). For their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents reported slightly higher window rates, with a purchase of RD$62.88 and a sale of RD$63.84 for this Tuesday.When comparing these values with those from a month ago, it is observed that the currency has regained ground, as the buying rate in exchange agents was RD$63.24 during that period.
