Edesur clarifies that the fire reported to 911 originated from an internal electrical problem

Edesur Dominicana clarified this Wednesday that the fire recorded in the dispatch area of the main headquarters building of the National Emergency and Security Attention System 911 is not related to failures in the external circuit that supplies electricity to that state entity. The distribution company specified that the origin of the incident corresponds to problems in the electrical conductors that supply the dispatch area, which are part of the building's internal electrical system, as established by the National District Fire Department. Edesur reported that, as soon as it received the request for support from the Fire Department, it acted immediately to collaborate with the solution of the problem presented in the 911 facilities. The National Emergency and Security Attention System 911 reported on the attempted fire recorded last Tuesday in the dispatch area of the headquarters of the Metropolitan Zone. They reported that the building's structure does not present any type of structural damage, according to the evaluation carried out by technicians from the National Office of Seismic Evaluation and Infrastructure and Building Vulnerability (ONESVIE).
