Expo Acero Santiago opens this Friday with the participation of 93 companies from 10 countries

Vice President Raquel Peña will lead the opening ceremony in Santiago Santiago. – This Friday, September 5th, the third edition of Expo Acero Santiago 2025 will be inaugurated, the most important fair in the steel and construction sector in the Dominican Republic. The event will be held at the Centro de Convenciones y Cultura Dominicana UTESA, in Santiago and will take place from September 5th to 7th, bringing together 93 national and international companies, from 10 countries, and expects to receive more than 4,000 attendees, including professionals, technicians, students, entrepreneurs and institutional representatives of the construction sector. Since its creation, Expo Acero has evolved into a platform with regional reach, integrating the main players in the steel construction industry, promoting innovation, technical exchange, business networking, and continuous training. The 2025 edition promises to exceed expectations and break the records established in previous years. Colombia, guest of honor
Due to its international dimension, Colombia has been designated as the guest of honor country, for its contributions to the development of construction in Latin America. In addition, strategic alliances have been formalized with the Steel Institutes of Mexico and Colombia, aimed at strengthening the exchange of knowledge and good practices between countries in the region. Metaldom joins again as the main sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to the development of the sector. The companies Carrujo, Steeltec and Kinnox are listed as Gold sponsors, actively supporting the realization of this world-class event. Also, Francisco Javier Durán, founder of Expo Acero, highlighted the collaboration with the AC Marriott Santiago Hotel, which will offer preferential rates to exhibitors and attendees. Located just a five-minute walk from the fairgrounds, the hotel is a fundamental part of the logistics for national and foreign visitors. Expo Acero Santiago 2025 will present a comprehensive program that will include: an exhibition area for heavy machinery and equipment, with cutting-edge technology and interactive demonstrations; a Business Hub to facilitate commercial meetings between national and international companies; more than 30 technical presentations and specialized panels with national and international experts. In addition, the third edition of the Women of Steel Panel, which seeks to make visible the impact and female leadership within the sector and nightlife activities to promote professional networking and the creation of alliances.
