Santiago. – The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) announced today that it completely renovated the emblematic Juan Antonio Alix Club, of the Venezuela School, located in the El Congo sector, of the “Heart City”. The renovated sports center, which for more than six decades has been a pillar in the physical and recreational training of thousands of students and young athletes, now presents a modern and functional infrastructure. Among the works carried out by INEFI, the installation of a new wooden floor, complete roofing, conditioning of courts, placement of seats, and the integral renovation of the facade and the building stand out.You can also read: INEFI adjusts school games calendar
The Executive Director of INEFI, Alberto Rodríguez Mella, while leading the delivery act, described the work as "a before and after for school sports in the heart city." Rodríguez Mella also reaffirmed the institution's commitment to the continuous improvement of the spaces for physical education throughout the country.“The Juan Antonio Alix Club is not just a sports center; it is a symbol of history, effort, and community. With this transformation, we guarantee a dignified, safe, and motivating environment for our students and coaches,” he added.
