Lluvias de Semana Santa mantienen a Bonao en alerta verde

Bonao, Monseñor Nouel.– En plena Semana Santa, las constantes lluvias que se han registrado en los últimos días mantienen bajo alerta verde a la provincia Monseñor Nouel, generando preocupación entre las autoridades y la ciudadanía debido a la saturación de los suelos y el incremento de los niveles de agua en calles y ríos.

Varias de las principales vías del municipio de Bonao se encuentran anegadas, producto de las intensas precipitaciones que han caído de manera continua, dificultando el tránsito vehicular y peatonal en distintos sectores.

La situación también se refleja en la autopista Duarte, específicamente en el tramo de Palmarito-Bonao, donde se ha registrado un alto flujo vehicular propio de la Semana Santa. Cientos de conductores se desplazan desde la región Norte hacia el Este del país, en medio de condiciones climáticas adversas que obligan a extremar las precauciones.

Ante este panorama, las autoridades hacen un llamado a la población a desplazarse con prudencia durante este asueto de Semana Santa, respetando las normas de tránsito, utilizando el cinturón de seguridad, encendiendo las luces del vehículo y evitando conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol.

Asimismo, se informó que los ríos de Bonao presentan niveles elevados durante esta Semana Santa, debido a la saturación provocada por las lluvias persistentes, por lo que se recomienda a la ciudadanía mantenerse alejada de cañadas y afluentes para evitar situaciones de riesgo.

Las autoridades se mantienen vigilantes ante cualquier eventualidad, exhortando a la población a seguir las orientaciones de los organismos de socorro y prevención durante esta Semana Santa.
