Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Municipal League (LMD) reported this Friday that the surveyor Pedro Emmanuel Acosta Rodríguez, linked to an investigation for alleged real estate fraud, was suspended from his duties as a topographer within the institution.
Through a statement, the entity clarified that the investigative process involving the professional derives exclusively from his private practice and is unrelated to the work performed at the LMD. The institution explained that the suspension was applied without salary, in compliance with the provisions of Public Function Law No. 41-08 and its Application Regulation No. 523-09.
