José Villanueva Custodio (Chivero), who must serve the sentence in the El Seibo public prison, was also sentenced to pay a fine of two hundred thousand pesos (RD$200,000) in cash.
Villanueva Custodio was found guilty of violating article 331 of the Penal Code (CP), modified by Law no. 24-97, and article 396, letter C, of the Code for the Protection and Fundamental Rights of Children and Adolescents (Law 136-03).

The victims' mother was also prosecuted in the case, who was found not guilty of the criminal offenses of complicity to assault and sexual assault, as well as for abuse committed by parents and the lack of adult supervision in accordance with articles 59, 60, 330 and 331 of the Penal Code.
According to the indictment, around 8:15 p.m. on December 10, 2024, the victims' father was informed of the events committed by Villanueva Custodio, who took advantage of a moment when the girls were alone in their home.
Litigation prosecutor Luz Almonte represented the Public Ministry before the Collegiate Court of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of First Instance of Hato Mayor, made up of judges Francisco Antonio Arias Sánchez, Haissel O. Uribe Reyes and Magdelquis Franco Peña.
