Santo Domingo. - The organization Miss Dominican Republic Universe announced the formal opening of the casting process corresponding to the celebration of its 70th edition, with the aim of selecting the young woman who will represent the country in Miss Universe 2026, to be held in Puerto Rico; in addition to other international contests.
This anniversary marks a milestone in the history of the national contest, which for seven decades has served as a platform to project talent, leadership, and cultural representation both inside and outside the country.
The call is made after the outstanding participation of Jennifer Ventura, Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2026, whose international performance reaffirmed the organization's commitment to elevate the Dominican presence on the global beauty stages.
