The mayor pointed out in the ceremony that although it is a community marriage, it is not just any marriage, as it has been prepared with care by the municipal authorities to promote this civil union "as the basic nucleus of society". After reading the duties and rights of marriage, Reggiardo formalized the civil union of those present, a representative couple read the vows and everyone shared a toast before celebrating the marriages.
