Peruvian shamans predict that Maduro will leave power in Venezuela in 2026

Lima.- A group of Peruvian shamans and healers predicted this Monday that the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, will step down from power during 2026, due to the tension he maintains with the United States, and that, therefore, the American president, Donald Trump, will emerge as the winner in that conflict.

A total of eleven shamans, or spiritual leaders, from various regions of Peru, met in Lima to perform a ritual of predictions for the coming year on the cliff of La Herradura beach, in front of the Pacific Ocean, in a group session in which offerings were made so that "a good year" for humanity would be presented. With the help of hallucinogenic plants such as Ayahuasca and San Pedro, shamans claimed to have visualized the fate of some of the leaders who maintain serious global conflicts, such as Maduro and Trump. You can also read: https://deultimominuto.net/internacionales/maduro-dice-que-en-2025/ The shaman Cleofé Sedano, from the Amazonian department of Loreto, declared to EFE that, along with his colleagues, he saw that "there will be very strong problems between Maduro and Donald Trump" and that "even a third world war could break out." According to Sedano, the United States will be the winner in that conflict, because "this year (2026) Maduro practically retires" from power.

Possible Impacts on the Region

The healer from Loreto also predicted that there will be "very strong" earthquakes worldwide, while in Peru "there will be calm" during the presidential and legislative elections next April. In turn, the 'shaman of the Andes', from the Áncash region, Félix Roldán Mejía, said that despite the support that China and Russia may offer to Venezuela, 'the winner will very soon be the United States'. «That's what we've seen, and that it comes prepared from years ago», he added before insisting that the United States «is going to enter Venezuela anyway», as a supposed solution to the political and humanitarian crisis in that country. However, I also predict that South America and the rest of the world will be "very affected" by that eventual intervention, supposedly born of the "ambition" for Venezuela's oil. "Venezuela will always be, due to these problems with Trump, in economic problems, we see it as quite catastrophic," Roldan affirmed.

The Shamanic Culture in Peru

The shamans stated that Trump has "a lot of anxiety", but they pointed out that they performed the ritual to also help him "cleanse himself" and that, along with other world leaders, they can think about humanity and put conflicts aside. In some cases, they use coca leaves, hallucinogens and concoctions, and in others they also make use of animals such as the quirquincho (hairy armadillo), frogs and reptiles, a reason why the National Forestry and Wildlife Service (Serfor) alerted this Monday about their illegal use in more than 2,319 cases linked to rituals that seek to attract good luck.
