Rescatan con vida a mujer extraviada en zona montañosa de Las Galeras, Samaná

Samaná.- Equipos de la Defensa Civil Dominicana lograron rescatar con vida a una mujer que se encontraba desaparecida en una zona montañosa del distrito municipal de Las Galeras.

La operación fue activada tras reportarse la desaparición de una ciudadana de nacionalidad haitiana, quien habría perdido el rumbo mientras transitaba por el área conocida como “Loma del Diablo”. De inmediato, brigadas de rescate se movilizaron hacia el lugar, enfrentando condiciones geográficas complejas para dar con su paradero.

El operativo estuvo encabezado por el director provincial de la Defensa Civil, Ramón Liriano Núñez, quien coordinó las acciones junto a los distintos organismos involucrados.

Luego de varias horas de búsqueda, la mujer fue localizada con vida y extraída de manera segura. Posteriormente, fue trasladada a un centro de salud para fines de evaluación médica, encontrándose estable y fuera de peligro, según informaron las autoridades.

En el operativo participaron de forma coordinada la Defensa Civil, el Cuerpo de Bomberos, la Policía Nacional y el Sistema Nacional de Atención a Emergencias y Seguridad 911.

Las autoridades reiteraron el llamado a la ciudadanía a tomar medidas preventivas al incursionar en zonas montañosas, recomendando informar previamente sobre su ubicación, evitar desplazarse en solitario y mantenerse atentos a las condiciones climáticas.

Este rescate pone en evidencia la capacidad de respuesta y coordinación de los organismos de emergencia en la República Dominicana ante situaciones de riesgo.
