Social Justice reaffirms commitment to transparency and institutional respect following TSE decision

The political organization will abide by the ruling and provide the remaining information within the established legal timeframe, as was done previously when requested. Santo Domingo. – The Social Justice Party (JS) reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, and respect for the legal system, following the decision issued by the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE) regarding an action for access to public information. Through a statement, the Party informed that, as a "political organization committed to institutional strengthening and legality," it will abide by the decision in all its parts and "will proceed to deliver the required information in accordance with the provisions of the Court, in strict compliance with legal procedures." Likewise, Social Justice valued the TSE's criterion "by partially rejecting the amparo action filed and accepting arguments made by Social Justice in the course of the process, precisely delimiting the scope of the information to be provided, as well as the deadlines established for the delivery of public information."

"We highlight the Court's decision to recognize the need to protect sensitive personal data, such as ID numbers, addresses, and bank details of individuals linked to financial information, by virtue of the preponderant private interest that protects their confidentiality," he specified.

In another aspect, the organization clarified that the TSE recognized the validity of information previously provided by JS, which demonstrates the transparency that has always prevailed in the organization.

“The Superior Electoral Court acknowledged that the report on the income and expenses of the Social Justice Party corresponding to the period January-July 2025 was validly delivered to the plaintiff, which was ratified by a previous ruling of the same Court; consequently, what has been ordered on this occasion is the delivery of the remaining five months, that is, from August to December 2025”, he explained.

Similarly, he reiterated that the Court validated the Party's request for the legally established deadline for the delivery of public information to be fifteen (15) business days, and not five (5) days as had been required, ordering that the response be produced within that term, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation. Finally, Social Justice reiterated its institutional commitment and principles, reaffirming its "vocation of transparency, unrestricted respect for institutions and unwavering commitment to ethical, responsible management oriented towards the common good."

"We act guided by the principles of social justice, equity, and strengthening the social and democratic rule of law, convinced that citizen trust is built with integrity, accountability, and permanent adherence to the law," he concluded.
