They capture "Cacón" and "El Lindo", identified as leaders of micro-trafficking in Boca Chica

The detention of the individuals is part of the expansion of interdiction operations against drug trafficking. Santo Domingo. – Within its firm mission to take narcotic substances out of circulation, as well as individuals dedicated to the crime of drug trafficking, agents of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and members of the Public Ministry arrested two men identified as leaders of micro-trafficking networks in the municipality of Boca Chica, Santo Domingo province. Anti-narcotics agents, coordinated by prosecutors from that locality and acting on intelligence reports, intervened on G Street, Andrés sector, near a carpentry workshop, where, according to reports, a point of sale for narcotic substances operated.

In the intervention, José Luis Ortiz (Cacón) and Brian Juan Pablo Rosa (El Lindo) were captured, who, upon noticing the presence of the operational teams, tried to escape the pursuit, without achieving their objective. In the operation, 471 grams of alleged cocaine, 79 doses of marijuana, 10 grams of crack, two cell phones, cash, among other evidence, were seized. “Cacón and El Lindo are identified, according to reports received through various channels in the corresponding departments, as important leaders of drug micro-trafficking networks in locations in the municipality of Boca Chica”. The capture and subsequent bringing to justice of both individuals is part of the arduous operational and coordinated work to attack and eradicate drug trafficking in neighborhoods of different provinces throughout the country.
