Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET) forecast for this Tuesday, December 2nd, a mostly sunny sky and some isolated showers due to a weak trough that could affect provinces such as La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Samaná and María Trinidad Sánchez. During the afternoon and until the early hours of the night, these showers could occur in Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, Samaná, La Vega, Santiago, San Juan, Azua and Elías Piña.
However, for tomorrow Wednesday, the influence of the wind and a weak trough, which will move west and be located northeast of our territory, will cause from dawn and morning some punctual showers in sectors of the Atlantic coast.
However, during the afternoon, cloud cover will increase, accompanied by scattered showers and isolated wind gusts towards provinces such as La Altagracia, La Romana, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Peravia, Sánchez Ramírez, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, Santiago, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, Dajabón and nearby areas, especially until the early hours of the night.

Due to the time of year and the effects of the northeast wind, temperatures will continue to be pleasant, especially at night and early morning, mainly in mountainous areas and valleys in the interior of the country, where fogs or mists are also likely at the end of the early morning and early hours of the day. These conditions will occur towards locations such as La Altagracia, La Romana, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Sánchez Ramírez, Monseñor Nouel and nearby areas, occurring mainly during the afternoon and extending well into the night.
