Tom Cruise surprises by participating in the filming of Star Wars: Starfighter

Hollywood / Lucasfilm. – The highly anticipated film Star Wars: Starfighter, directed by Shawn Levy, has generated great expectation after it was revealed that the renowned actor Tom Cruise had an unexpected participation during the filming of the film, even contributing images that will be part of the final editing.

According to information published by The New York Times and replicated by specialized media, Cruise visited the filming set last November, after arriving from London in his helicopter. What began as a casual visit turned into a memorable anecdote when director Shawn Levy jokingly invited him to operate the camera during a complex action scene that included a lightsaber duel. Far from just observing, the protagonist of Mission: Impossible actively got involved in the filming, even entering a mud pond to capture the scene from a dynamic angle. Levy confirmed that the material filmed by Cruise was so professional that it will be kept in the final cut of the film.
