Santiago. – The two minors who had been reported missing in Santiago, a case that generated great concern and went viral on social media during the last few hours, were located safe and sound in the Eugenio María de Hostos park, in the National District.
This is a 16-year-old teenager and a 4-year-old child, who were found by members of the New Police Service Model (NMSP), attached to unit C-9 of the National Police, after search and identification efforts.
According to the authorities, both minors were found in good health and would later be transferred to the National Police Palace, as part of the corresponding protocol for their handover and case follow-up.
The disappearance of the minors had caused an intense mobilization in Santiago, especially after their images and data circulated massively on digital platforms, generating alarm among family members, friends, and citizens who joined the search.
