Woman injured after jumping from second level in Miches residential

El Seibo. – A woman sustained multiple injuries early this Thursday morning after jumping from the second level of the Alta Vista residential building in the municipality of Miches. This is Niurka Isabel Castillo Navarro, 42 years old, who, according to the medical diagnosis, presented blows to different parts of her body after falling from her apartment. According to preliminary information, the woman would have made the decision to jump in an attempt to escape from a person, unknown until now, who allegedly broke into her home in the early hours of the morning. After the incident, Castillo Navarro was transferred to the municipal hospital, where she received medical attention. The event occurred around 5:40 in the morning, according to reports from the police authorities.

Authorities reported that they are keeping investigations open to clarify the circumstances of the event and to find the whereabouts of the individual involved.
