Biography: Manuel Arturo Machado, known as “El Ministro”, was born on July 6, 1992, in Hialeah, Florida, and holds both American and Dominican nationalities. From a young age, he displayed exceptional talent for baseball, which led to his selection in the third position of the MLB draft in 2010 by the Baltimore Orioles. Machado has established himself as one of the best defensive and offensive players of his generation, standing out for his powerful offense, leadership, and solidity at third base.
Machado debuted in the Major Leagues in 2012 with the Orioles, quickly earning the respect of his teammates and fans. In 2013, he was called to his first All-Star Game and won his first Gold Glove, leading the American League in doubles.
