More than two million cooked rations were distributed by Comedores Económicos during the "Cocinando Pa' Mamá" program.

The Mobile Kitchens installed in different communities and sectors of the country also served a special menu on the occasion of the holiday.

Santo Domingo – The general director of the Dominican State Economic Dining Rooms (CEED), Edgar Augusto Féliz Méndez, reported that the program “Cocinando Pa`Mamá”, carried out throughout the country, delivered two million 300 thousand buffet-style lunch rations to more than 5 thousand civil society organizations.

For an entire week, the Economic Dining Halls served, through community leaders and social organizations, special buffet-style lunches and dinners as part of the activities organized by the central government through different institutions of the Dominican State to celebrate mothers.

The CEO of CEED said that the reception these programs have had among the Dominican population and the positive impact is worthy of being recognized and valued.
