Banco Popular expands its branch network with three new branches

The entity reaffirms its most innovative, strategic, and close care model. Santo Domingo.– In a display of ongoing commitment to digital transformation and the territorial expansion of its network of bank branches, the Banco Popular Dominicano celebrated the inauguration of three new offices and the expansion and modernization of six others in a simultaneous event, which was headed by its executive president, Mr. Christopher Paniagua. The main event of these simultaneous openings took place in the modern office located on the second level of Ágora Santiago Center, in the city of Santiago, and from there a connection was established with the offices of Plaza Paseo 27 in Santo Domingo and in the municipality of Jarabacoa, La Vega province.

In addition, during the inauguration of the new offices, the recent opening of the branches in Jumbo Luperón and Olé 27 de Febrero was also announced, as well as the remodeling of the offices in Blue Mall, Multicentro Oriental, Boca Chica and Baní.

Banco Popular with strategic offices for better service

The new branches of Banco Popular combine technology and personalized attention in modern spaces that improve the customer experience. This hybrid model drives self-service and strengthens the relationship with users through closer advice. Thanks to this strategy, the bank achieved an NPS (Net Promoter Score) of 90 points and 98% satisfaction in 2024, the highest in the sector. In addition, it has been recognized for the fourth consecutive year as the "Most Digital Bank of the Dominican Republic" by the Superintendency of Banks, standing out in the region for its innovation, personalized advice, and social commitment. The three new branches are located in the shopping center Ágora Santiago Center, on Salvador Estrella Sadhalá Avenue, in Santiago; Norberto Tiburcio Avenue, in Jarabacoa; and in Plaza Paseo 27 on Prolongación 27 de Febrero, Santo Domingo Oeste. Mr. Francisco Ramírez, Executive Vice President of Personal Business and Branches, highlighted that the new offices strengthen Popular's digital transformation strategy, by raising the standards of efficiency, functionality, and personalized attention.

“Gracias a nuestro ecosistema digital y a nuestra infraestructura moderna, hoy los clientes encuentran oficinas más funcionales, tiempos de espera reducidos en un 50% y una atención más personalizada”, afirmó.

These branches are equipped with state-of-the-art ATMs, including units for commercial deposits, and a queue management system that streamlines service. They offer ample spaces with digital self-service, personalized attention, and accessibility for people with disabilities.
