Michael Madsen, actor from 'Kill Bill' and 'Reservoir Dogs', dies at 67 years old

Los Angeles.- American actor Michael Madsen, known for his work in films like 'Kill Bill Vol. 2' and 'Reservoir Dogs', passed away at the age of 67, according to reports this Thursday.

Authorities confirmed to the specialized media outlet The Hollywood Reporter that they found Madsen unconscious in his Malibu home after receiving a 911 call, and that he was declared dead this morning.

In addition, his representative confirmed to national media that the actor apparently suffered a "cardiac arrest", and stated to TMZ that Madsen was excited to showcase the work he had been doing in independent cinema, including the feature films 'Resurrection Road', 'Concessions' and 'Cookbook for Southern Housewives'. Madsen was a recurring actor in Quentin Tarantino's films, including his debut film 'Reservoir Dogs', 'The Hateful Eight', 'Kill Bill' or 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'. However, his career, consisting of more than 328 titles, according to the IMDb databases, was also marked by films such as 'Donnie Brasco', by Mike Newell, or 'Thelma & Louise', by Ridley Scott. Madsen was born in Chicago on September 25, 1957, and got his first film role with the movie 'War Games', from 1983, starring Matthew Broderick. Most of his career was dedicated to cinema, but among the hundreds of titles in which he participated, some television works such as 'Vengance Unlimited' or 'Tilt' also stand out. In addition, the interpreter also has credits as a producer and screenwriter, and parallel to his work as an actor, he published several books as a poet such as 'Burning in Paradise', from 1998, or 'Expecting Rain', from 2013.
