"I am a product of migration. At 16, my parents left in search of better opportunities, and that experience marked my life forever. I am the one here speaking out, but I come representing all the migrant women of the world who never stop dreaming," expressed Toribio. The event is held under the theme “Women, Migration and Development: Weaving Hope for Central America and the Caribbean”, and sought to generate proposals that will be presented at the Regional Meeting of Women of Political Parties of PARLACEN, on August 28 in Guatemala.
