Santiago.- Edenorte Dominicana informed that the strong winds recorded in the Cibao region during the last few hours caused the outage of 11 electrical circuits under its concession, which caused the interruption of the supply to at least 38 thousand clients. According to the institution, wind gusts, accompanied by rain and electrical discharges, caused damage at different points in its distribution network, leading to the fall of power lines, tree branches on lines, and other weather-related incidents.
