After successfully concluding his musical residency "No me quiero ir de aquí" at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, Bad Bunny will take on a new challenge as it is revealed that he will be the headlining artist for the halftime show of "Super Bowl LX" of the NFL, scheduled for February 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and which will be broadcast by NBC.

The announcement was made official, precisely, during the "halftime" of tonight's game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers. Before that, he made a post on his X profile, where he indicated that he would do "a single date" in the United States.

"The emotion I feel, more than for myself, is for those who ran countless yards so that I could score a touchdown... for my people, my culture, and our history. Go and tell your grandmother that we will be the HALFTIME SHOW OF THE SUPER BOWL," the Puerto Rican said in written statements. This would be the second time that the Puerto Rican artist performs on this important stage, one of the television events with the largest audience in the United States and the entire world.

In 2020, he was one of the guests in the "halftime show" of "Super Bowl LIV", headlined by singers Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.

Last Saturday, September 20th, the Bad Bunny broke the record for the most-watched performance by a single artist on Amazon Music thanks to the live broadcast of the closing of his musical residency, according to the platform. The production dethroned all audience records and marked a historic moment, both for the streaming service and for Latin music, Amazon Music highlighted through a statement. The function was number 31 of his residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, a series of concerts that sold out completely.

His presentation means an extra stop in the middle of what will be "DeBí TiRAR MÁS FOToS World Tour" which will start on November 21, 2025 until July 22, 2026. For February of next year he will perform in Santiago, Chile, from February 5 to 7, resuming the tour on February 13 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
