Santo Domingo. - Gestiones Turísticas, SRL (Gestur) makes history again by becoming the first and only travel agency in the Dominican Republic to obtain the ISO 27001 certification in Information Security, an international recognition that validates the rigorous, secure and reliable management of data.
This new achievement adds to the ISO 9001 certification in Quality Management previously obtained, consolidating Gestur as the first travel agency in the country with dual ISO certification.
The formal delivery of this certification took place at Gestur's facilities in Agora Mall, in an event led by Mr. Ariel Espejo Combes, Director of the certification company AENOR Dominicana, who officially presented the certification to Mrs. Theresa Ann Sullivan, CEO of Gestur, accompanied by Cadelin Rosa, project manager, and the committed team of professionals that make up the agency.
During the event, Ms. Sullivan stated: “The ISO 27001 certification reflects our commitment to security, trust, and innovation. We are proud to be pioneers in this recognition, which, along with the ISO 9001 certification, consolidates our mission to provide travel experiences with the highest standards of quality and information protection.”
