Santo Domingo. - The veteran Dominican urban music singer, La Insuperable, has been recently nominated as Urban Artist of the Year at the Glamour Music Awards 2025, to be held on November 10 at the Salón La Fiesta of the Hotel Jaragua, and in the category Female Artist of the Year of the Q de la Música Awards, which will take place this November 29 at Hard Rock Café Santo Domingo. "I am grateful, that's how I feel, grateful. These nominations are another reason to celebrate," the singer expressed about her nominations. Despite recent controversies, La Insuperable has managed to position several singles throughout 2025, making it a year of successes with a strong impact on radio, Monitor Latino charts, nightclubs, TikTok, and other digital platforms. Among his most outstanding themes is “Privado”, which trended for more than three months and gave rise to the successful Privado Tour with international presentations. Also noteworthy are “Borrón y Cuenta Nueva”, along with Elvis Crespo, Ebenezer Guerra and Toño Rosario; “Doy”, in collaboration with Nino Freestyle; the solo cuts “Presión” and “Tú Dice”, where he showed his skill in rap and dembow; in addition to “Ya Te Dije”, a hymn of female empowerment that has resonated strongly with his audience. In addition to those already mentioned, La Insuperable also demonstrated her skill in merengue once again, in a collaboration with Los Socios del Patio, where she performed her hits in a live session alongside these long-standing musicians in favor of strengthening and reviving merengue. This consistent work has earned him important recognitions in past years and at present, from the nominations already mentioned, to receiving an award at Bronx Week 2025 from the district president, Vanessa L. Gibson, in honor of his artistic career and community work.
