Los Angeles. - The United States government warned this Wednesday that it will deploy agents from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE) at the Super Bowl show starring Puerto Rican Bad Bunny.

"There is no place where shelter can be provided to those who are in this country illegally. Neither the Super Bowl nor any other place," indicated one of the Department of Homeland Security advisors, Corey Lewandowski, on the radio program The Benny Show.

Regardless of whether it's a Bad Bunny concert, "we are going to apply the law everywhere. We are going to guarantee the safety of Americans. It's a directive from the president. If you are in this country without documents, do yourself a favor: go home," he asserted. The official expressed the Donald Trump administration's displeasure regarding the choice of Bad Bunny to perform at halftime of one of the most important sporting events in the U.S. "It's a shame they decided to choose someone who seems to hate America so much to represent them at halftime," Lewandowski added. The choice of the Puerto Rican, one of the artists with the greatest impact on the current music scene, to lead the Super Bowl halftime show has divided public opinion after he stated that he avoided going through the U.S. with his world tour because ICE conducted raids at the venues of his concerts.
