Scotiabank messenger dies in traffic accident in Azua

Azua. – A young bank messenger from Scotiabank lost his life this Sunday after suffering a serious traffic accident on the Sánchez highway, near the entrance to the community of Los Toros, Azua province. The victim was identified as Juan Carlos Méndez de los Santos, 35 years old, residing in the Los Haití neighborhood, 16 de Agosto street, house number 63, of the municipal district of Los Toros. According to the preliminary report, Méndez de los Santos was traveling on a CG brand motorcycle, model 125, black, when he collided with a bus, whose driver fled the scene and has not yet been identified.

The accident occurred near a gas bottling plant and the Los Toros bridge.
The young man was taken to the Taiwan Regional Hospital, where he unfortunately passed away while receiving medical attention.
